1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
½ cup butter (softened)
½ cup shortening
3/4 cup white sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
1 tsp. vanilla
2 lg. eggs
1 cup bittersweet chocolate chips
1 cup mini m&m’s
1 Hershey bar, finely chopped
½ cup pecans or walnuts (optional)
Freezer Prep:
Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl.  Cream butter, shortening and sugars together in a large mixer bowl.  Add vanilla.  Add eggs one at a time.  Slowly stir in flour mixture.  Stir in chocolate chips and candies.  Add nuts if desired.
Roll into apx. 1 in. balls and place on a baking sheet not touching one another.  Place baking sheet in the refrigerator and chill about an hour or until they are solid and won’t stick to one another.  Place in a gallon sized freezer bag and label with baking instructions and the date!
Baking Instructions:
Remove from freezer and preheat the oven while you arrange them on a baking sheet.  Bake for 8-10 minutes at 375 degrees  (add 1 or 2 minutes if needed).  Enjoy!!
